Additionally, a pack and play with sheets and an air mattress are available in the closet. - Bedroom #2: This cozy room features a queen bed, charming white furniture with an antique dresser and a closet to hang your clothing, also located upstairs. This bedroom will be getting a new window air conditioning unit in 2025. - Bedroom #3: The only bedroom on the main floor, this room comes with a queen bed, a built-in bookcase, and an antique headboard, providing a peaceful retreat. This bedroom will be getting a new window air conditioning unit in 2025. Living Space: Enjoy the bright and airy open-concept living and dining area that comfortably seats 10 at the dining table. Relax on the L-shaped sectional couch or enjoy a good book in the reading area, surrounded by original wooden floors and beautifully decorated with local artwork and photos. Kitchen: Prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen featuring a double sink, GE side-by-side refrigerator with an ice maker, electric stove, and microwave. You'll find all the essentials, including pots, pans, and dishes. A cozy breakfast table with two stools and a coffee/tea station with a BUNN coffee maker and electric kettle make mornings easy and enjoyable. Please note, that there is no dishwasher. Bathrooms: The main bathroom off the kitchen includes a deep soaking bathtub. This tub is perfect for kids, but can be challenging for those with limited mobility. Additionally, there's a utility room behind the stylish double barn door, where you’ll find cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner, and a utility sink tucked away from sight. Laundry: For your laundry needs, a washer and dryer are conveniently located in the mudroom area near the kitchen, perfect for multitasking while preparing meals. Down the hill (about 5 5-minute walk) is the American Legion Park, with public parking on both ends. Great spot to launch your kayak, look for the sea glass, or simply enjoy Lake Huron and the views of Mackinac Island. In the summer, there is live music almost every day. The weekly and event schedule is located at the property. NEW IN 2025. Window AC units will be installed in every bedroom. There is a smart Roku TV in the living room and a smart TV with a Roku device in the primary bedroom, both of which offer Amazon Prime. You can use your login to the other apps, but please don't forget to log out. You can easily walk to a playground, beach, lighthouse, splash pad, restaurants, ice cream shops, a bakery, and a coffee shop, all of which are located less than half a mile away. The house is 0.8 miles from the Mackinac Island ferry at Classic Dock, where boats operate from May 23, 2025, to September 1, 2025. The main dock is 1.5 miles away. Other things to note The City of St. Ignace passed a short-term rental ordinance in 2022. This property passed the city's required inspection and has a proper permit for up to 8 people since 6/1/2022. There is a permit for the current season located on the bookcase.
