Oak House is a spacious 5-bedroom country home set within a private polo estate on the edge of Stedham, sleeping up to 10 guests. With generous living space, a well-equipped kitchen and a private hedged garden, it’s ideal for families and groups looking to relax in the South Downs. A lovely base for country walks, nearby pubs and local events including Goodwood, Cowdray Polo, West Witterings beaches, and lots of South Downs walking trails. The space Oak House is a spacious country home set within a beautiful private polo estate on the edge of Stedham. Surrounded by open countryside and close to South Downs National Park walks and trails, it offers a peaceful setting for families and friends to relax and unwind. The house sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and offers generous living space, a well-equipped kitchen and a private hedged garden with patio seating. It is also well placed for nearby villages, country pubs and popular local events, including Goodwood. Guest access Guests have private use of Oak House and its hedged garden and patio area. Oak House sits within a private working polo estate and family residence, so access to the wider estate is limited. The clubhouse, stables, paddocks, farm workshops, barns and other private buildings are not included in the booking and are out of bounds. However during Polo season (May to August) there are plenty of high goal polo matches on that you’re welcomed to come and enjoy and you’re welcome to walk or run, along the private roads and footpath to the lake and around the farm. Good for pram walks, morning runs or an evening stroll. Other things to note Oak House is located on a private working estate, so you may occasionally see staff, horses, vehicles or other guests nearby. For safety reasons, please do not feed, touch or approach the horses, enter the stables or paddocks, or access any barns, workshops, machinery or other private estate buildings unless specifically invited to do so. We also ask that children are supervised outdoors at all times due to tractors, machinery, horses and a lake/reservoir on the farm.
