The birthplace of the famous chocolatier Joseph Rowntree, the building has recently been converted and restored without any compromise of it's original character. Situated in the heart of the city centre less than 50 yards from The Shambles, our first floor apartment is placed perfectly for sightseeing or cosy nights in. The space Rowntree One is a self-catering one-bedroom apartment in York city centre, minutes away from the main attractions. The apartment features a spacious lounge area with a smart TV. There is a dining table to accommodate two people and a desk space too. There is a fully equipped kitchen with facilities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, induction hobs, fridge/ freezer and a microwave. In the bedroom there is one double bed with a wardrobe and a dressing table. Although there is no parking with the apartment, paid for parking is available just a couple of minutes walk away at the Shambles Q Park. Other things to note This is a first floor apartment and the building does not have a lift. Guests will need to be able to carry their luggage up a flight of stairs to access the apartment.
