"Good times" Beach house in Rooiels, Western Cape

Bring your whole family to this lovely home with lots of room for fun and relaxation. Find your senses again in the Biosphere that is Rooiels - it really is something else! 100 metres from the beach! Unobstructed Views of Cape Point, Sunsets to relish, Star Gazing - something to behold - with NO light pollution :) - the clear nights are just heavenly! This lovely home is available for families and their friends, and we welcome sunset braais and family celebrations. Sorry No Parties allowed. The space This Beach home is a real beach home; it has four bedrooms with double beds in each. There are two full bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. A "pajama lounge" downstairs where the family can play board games, or read or just soak up the afternoon sun. Upstairs is where you will I find a spacious entertainment area for the entire family - there is a pool table which converts into a ping pong table, darts, a music system, 50" HD TV. There is of course Netflix available on the Smart TV. The large and well-appointed kitchen leads off from the lounge area and has everything that you will need to make sure the hungry tummies are filled at each meal :) Two sliding doors lead out from the lounge to a huge balcony with views for Africa! There you will find a large built in fireplace/Braai/Barbecue for special evenings spent in front of a fire with endless views and majestic sunsets. Guest access The entire home is for your use. There is an OPTIONAL cleaning service at R450 per service for longer stays - should you need extra cleaning - 24 hours' notice is required. You will be charged one mandatory cleaning fee for your departure. The garages are not available for use. Other things to note Parties which are not family oriented will not be tolerated, and the booking will be cancelled immediately, and you will be asked to leave - no refund will be given. We have secured the upstairs with electric fencing so that doors and windows can be open when using the balcony. This is so that you’re not affected by the local baboon troop. Baboons are always present in Rooiels most days and have been since day dot:) You will need to make sure doors and windows and car doors 🙃downstairs are locked when you are at home or away. Baboons are not aggressive towards humans or their pets. Nor are they scared of humans so they will try to get to your food :( They are essentially only focused on your food. For the sake of both the baboons and your sanity - remove all food opportunities. They will protect their young if chased by a dog, but otherwise they leave dogs alone. Baboons are not predators. ​Most Rooielsers love living in wild nature and sharing our world with the baboons - but we do need to take precautions and we need to avoid feeding them.
