Permit# HRP-016. Great Location, close to the lake, skiing, trails & downtown, clean, quiet home. The Captain's Room is a perfect place to setup camp & explore Lake Tahoe! Full size elevated captain's bed, lots of storage; TV/DVR, long desk & tall dresser, hot tub, fast wi-fi and a chef's kitchen; 420 friendly, quick 5 mile uber anywhere in town. Amazing yard backs to forest and close to tons of resorts, trails, rivers & the lake. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! This is a very small but very efficient L-shaped room, only 82 square feet, it's approximately 12.5 x 6.5 feet. It’s called the Captain's Room because of the elevated Captain's Bed and nautical theme (extra padded mattress with Tempurpedic topper) so one can sleep very comfortably and it offers a ton of storage underneath. It is perfect for longer stays and many people moving across the country to Lake Tahoe have been able to store all their possessions in this room while looking for their permanent Tahoe residence. It feels like sleeping in a bad-ass cave and my friends affectionately call it "The San Francisco Apartment"! It's very private in the far right back corner of the home with partial views of the meadow behind the house and south facing means early, mid-day and afternoon sunshine. There's a good size desk to setup your laptop on, comfortable sheets & comforter and fresh Egyptian cotton towels. It offers plenty of dresser, closet, under bed storage & extra blankets. I am located in Mid-Town (Sierra Tract) and have central access to everything in South Lake Tahoe, the house features a great kitchen, dining room & fabulous indoor and outdoor shared spaces. Comfortable living room, fast Wi-Fi, waffle maker, chef’s kitchen, professional cleaning, hot tub, washer dryer, firewood, bbq, games, etc. Guests have access to all the amenities of the home, including hot tub, kitchen, washer/dryer, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, BBQ, clean towels, DVR, tons of movies, games, music, computer, ironing board, etc. Due to COVID and my compromised immunity and high risk factors, I usually will give the tour of the house and let you do your thing while I do mine. Feel free to enjoy the house and kitchen and reach out if you need anything. I have another long term guest room so you may meet a fellow traveler or two. I have two older dogs that nap most of the day. This is a quiet residential neighborhood with a bike path & miles of forest on the backside and rivers/meadows on both sides. I often offer rides when I can as well. Taxis are about $15/20 to the casinos. There is also public transportation available for $4. I do not accept cancellations or issue refunds for ANY reason. I always do my job and my house is always ready for my guests; all you have to do is show up and enjoy your vacation! Cigarettes, spliffs and blunts outside only please. Marijuana anywhere is fine! Room price is for 1 person only. Any additional guest can be accommodated for an additional $50 per night. You will be able to come and go as you please, but please respect the fact I have to work weekdays and there is another guest room across the hall. Please keep showers to 15-20 minutes so that there is hot water for everyone! The shower room has its own locking door so keep the main bathroom door open and people can still use the bathroom when someone is showering. When I'm traveling or at work, access to the home will be provided via lockbox, but usually I prefer to give the tour and personally show you all the features of my home.
