This cozy, self-sufficient home is just 10 minutes from the airport — perfect for unwinding in the hot tub after a long flight or outdoor adventure. The neighborhood offers easy access to city trails, restaurants, and bars, whether you prefer to walk, bike, or drive. A few things to note: Group bookings should be made by a guest with a verified 5-star review history. We kindly ask that all guests respect our family-friendly neighborhood — no parties, please. The space This home has room to sleep 10 guests, a modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, and everything you need and more to cook and bake. The downstairs studio has its own kitchen. The living room is a bright and comfortable space with a fireplace (you'll need to provide your own Duraflame log), TV, sound system, piano, books and board games. If you are coming back from a fishing trip, camping or hike, the laundry room has a large washer and dryer. Turn up the hot tub and soak in the warmth! There are two full bathrooms both with bathtubs. Hand soap is provided; please bring your own shampoo and conditioner. We live a 10 minute drive from the international airport (never have to worry about traffic), one minute walk to Fish Creek Park (basketball and tennis courts in the summer) and trail access, walking distance to many restaurants (see the guidebook), access to midtown and grocery stores. If you don't have a car, taxis are easy to call, otherwise the bus line is a 5 minute walk away. Please note that this is actually a family home; not an Airbnb business investment property. Guest access You will have my whole house and backyard to yourself and be given a code to enter the house using a digital keypad. Please be advised that someone comes occasionally to the back yard to tend to the garden, and another to maintain the hot tub every three days. Other things to note There is a bee hive in the backyard; please do not disturb. The gardener comes occasionally but we will always give notice.
