The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home. You can walk anywhere. There are groceries. Retail stores (all locally owned), and incredible restaurants. We are ten minutes away from local ski area, Eldora Mountain Ski Resort Trails for snowshoeing /cross-country. Dog friendly although back yard is not fenced. Spacious house. Originally built for commercial use, it was renovated for residential in the 1980’s Original garage is now e bedroom. The space Some renovations were made at The Pink House in April. Kitchen counters have been retiled. There is now heavy duty carpet in the entrance where the washer and dryer are located. New kitchen appliances were installed in August, 2025. The Pink House is in a 65 year old building, originally built with cinder blocks. It has been remodeled to have drywall on most walls. It is like a cavern with many rooms ( 4 are bedrooms/ 2 w 2 beds) and the original concrete construction keeps it cool in the summer. In the winter months, central heat keeps the bathroom, kitchen, office and dining rooms as warm as you like. There is baseboard heat in all the other rooms further back. What used to be the garage is now a large bedroom w a twin bed and one queen. Big fully stocked kitchen. Large bathroom w a tub/ shower.We always get a 5-star rating for cleanliness. Driveway big enough for 2 cars. Please back-in park. There are lots of cyclists that use the street. This will keep everyone safe. Big backyard w a creek but no fence. Large grill and outdoor table/umbrella w 6 chairs are set up at beginning of summer. Please collapse the umbrella when you leave the patio area for the day. You will be charged $100 if something happens to the umbrella. Last summer we went through four umbrellas. This is why I have had to make this policy. There is a brand new croquet setsitting next to the dryer. If it’s not there it means I finally had time to assemble it and it will be right outside the back door. We are on the waitlist for a local landscape company to level that yard due to many vole holes. Once it is levelled, we plan to build a large flagstone patio. Guest access All space inside and outside of The Pink House is accessible to guests except for a shed close to the house where cleaning supplies are kept. NO TV. Unless you are going on day trips, there is no need to get in your car. Nederland is very walkable. During the day there will be traffic noises, but the Town pretty much shuts down after 9-10 pm.. This is a large older house. The single beds are high off the ground. This may not be ideal for small children. So we have a full crib and a PAC and Play we can bring into the house if they are needed. Also, all the dressers and wardrobes are for your use. They are bolted into the walls. So don’t be concerned they will fall on your child. However, please do not allow your child to climb on them for their own safety. Also, please back in when parking on the side of the house. There is a coffee shop one block East of the house that attracts many bicyclists. as well as great small batch coffee. It’s called Salto’s. There’s also a small specialty sports shop in one corner of that property. They sell and repair bicycles in the summer and sell and tune skis in the winter. We have a nice large park behind the Grocery Store and off Boulder Middle Creek Trail called Chipeta Park. It was named after the wife of the famous Ute Chief, Niwot. We have had Pow Wows there in the past. NO TV.
