You will be staying in a stunning, recently renovated, 240 meter2 (2,400 square foot) contemporary triplex townhouse in one of the best locations - the Old City in Chiang Mai. The renovation is in minimalist industrial style with exposed brickwork and polished cement walls, including luxury features such as hardwood floors, extensive wood furniture, terrazzo bathtub, steam room, loft bedroom, outdoor shower, full modern kitchen, sunny balconies - and much more. Free airport pick up included! The space You will have the entire 3 floor townhouse to yourself - over 240 meter2 (2,400 square foot) . All rooms have individual AC, WiFi, Bose speakers. There are 2 TVs equipped with Apple TV . All bathrooms have hot water. We provide all towels, 300 thread count cotton bed linens, down duvet bed covers, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, umbrellas. Floor 1 now has a 2 seater steam room and floor 3 has an outdoor shower, loft bedroom and bathtub. When you see the townhouse you will understand our policy of "No Shoes ". Please help to keep our wood floors beautiful and the townhouse clean - Thank You!! We have partnered with a local art collector who has more than 600 paintings by mostly local Thai artists. He has kindly allowed us to display a selection of these paintings in the townhouse for your enjoyment. Over time we will regularly be rotating those paintings on display. Information on each painting will be available. If you like what you see let us know The rooms are distributed as follows. Floor 3 Bedroom 1 - 1 queen bed , 1 king bed in the loft, ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower, working desk. Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi . The outdoor shower, with privacy, is a truly unique feature for urban accommodation Bedroom 2 - 1 queen bed with an ensuite bathroom, stand alone bathtub, and working desk. Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi. The bright and airy bathroom/shower benefits from a full length window allowing ample sunlight. The bathroom glass walls have switchable LED lights which allows for either full privacy or maximum light Floor 2 Full modern kitchen, including dishwashing machine, oven, nespresso coffee machine, rice cooker - with a large island table that can easily accommodate 8 people. We also have a washing machine available for use. Living room with TV and Apple TV, Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi. In front there is a large balcony with a glass roof for maximum light exposure. This balcony is large enough to string up the large hammock I have available for guest use. There is also a ½ bathroom on this floor. Floor 1 With a separate entrance for maximum privacy, but easily accessible to floor 2 and 3, this floor is outfitted with a luxurious and comfortable king bed. There is also a concealed ½ kitchen with a microwave, fridge, toaster and nespresso coffee machine. There is a TV with Apple TV, a Bose speaker and WiFi. Separated from the bedroom by large sliding glass doors is the spa zone - a fully enclosed glass atrium with a 2 seat steam room , large terrazzo bathtub and shower. Also in this zone is a Toto fully automated Japanese toilet - is there any other way!! There is also covered parking for 1 car - or numerous motorbikes/bicycles Guest access Please note that only registered guests (those that have provided us their passports, on check in day or before, for reporting to Thai Immigration) are allowed on the property or in the house. No events, parties or commercial filing is allowed - thank you ! Other things to note ***PLEASE NOTE***** —> The townhouse next to ours has a renovation project in progress for the past 3 years!! They appear to have run out of money so construction is very sporadic --> in any given month they might work 4-5 days . On the days they do work there may be noise from 900am to 500pm, but never on Sundays . Based on our experience last 2 years this largely did not effect guests as they were touring during the day or the time they were in the townhouse 900am -500pm there was no noise -- > you can see guests comments rarely mention this . However for full disclosure to potential guests we are letting you know of this situation ******** NOTE ******** We encourage you to please read our entire AIRBNB listing as you will find answers to 95% of the questions previous guests have asked. Note from 21:00 to 07:00 our phones are turned off (we need some sleep 😊 ). In particular please note you should NOT use our legal address to get to and from your accomodation - see under “Location “ / “Getting Around “ QR Codes - most machines (air purifier, coffee machine, etc..) have a QR code on a plaque on the table - just scan the QR Code with your phone camera and this will link you to a video explaining how to use. Smoking - is not allowed inside the townhouse . There is an ashtray in a kitchen drawer The hammock is in one of the kitchen drawers Floor 2 - feel free to hang it up. It is all weather so a little rain will not damage it. Garbage - there is a garbage can on the road outside the parking area - it has “3/22” on it. Please use when needed. Garbage collection is every Wednesday and Sunday Lights in garage area - there are 2 sets of lights that will automatically come on at night time. These are internet controlled - there is no light switch. For stays of 7 nights or longer we will change the towels and sheets after the 4th night. Floor 2 Air Purifier - after you turn on you will see a PM2.5 reading. When this number reaches 25 or below the air quality is good. Drinking water - the water in glass bottles in the fridge has been purified by us (we drink this too!) using a Reverse Osmosis system . We hope this will cut down on plastic bottle use. You can refill the bottles from the small tap in the garage area.
