Gîte by the pond (Millevaches Plateau)

Combe Prunde presents itself as an idyllic, isolated and quiet place for all people who like to spend their time in unspoiled nature and who appreciate being alone with nature to observe it or to rest thoroughly. Located near the large pond, the cottage offers, with its three bedrooms, enough space for up to 6 people. During the high season (mid-June to mid-September), we only rent the cottage by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. The space On our 57 ha property, there are ponds, pools and streams, peatlands, moors, meadows and forests that we explore only through natural paths. There are many kilometers of beautiful walks to take and countless places that invite you to linger, listen and observe nature. Located in the heart of the Millevaches Plateau, Combe Prunde is also an ideal starting point for extended hikes in the natural park or for visiting tourist sites in the region. The "Hirondelle" gîte offers: - 2 bedrooms (1 double bed of 180 x 200 cm and 1 double bed of 160 x 200 cm) on the 1st floor - 1 bedroom (1 bunk bed, below 1 bed of 120 x 200 cm and above 1 bed of 90 x 200 cm) on the ground floor - A kitchen open to the living room, spacious and well-appointed with a dishwasher, large fridge, coffee maker (filter) and electric kettle. - "Mini-Bar" (Direct sale) with artisanal products from our farm (syrups, jams, pasta, aperitif wafers, caramels with cream, etc.) - Living and dining room with a table for 6 people, sofa, wood stove and bay window overlooking the lake. - 1 bathroom with shower, bathtub, hair dryer - For children: crib, 2 high chairs, 2 children's cutlery, games and tools for drawing and coloring - Laundry room with a washing machine and iron - Central heating - Fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and smoke detector - Terrace with table and chairs, 2 deckchairs on the peninsula - A quiet and idyllic place - There's no TV! Mobile reception is sufficient in the field - inside the cottage it depends on the operator. Guest access You have access to the entire house. Outside you have access to our entire 57 ha property including the peninsula with deckchairs. Other things to note Important notes for families with small children! Certainly, it is a key element that children learn to discover nature and to appreciate its value more. However, please note that the edges of the ponds, streams and embankments on the grounds and around the cottage as well as the bridges are neither fenced nor secured. Children under the age of 8 need constant supervision by their parents.
