Description
Forsythia Cottage is a 19th century detached, private, thatched cottage 5 minutes walk from the centre of Braunton. There are 3 double bedrooms, a comfortable tv lounge, al fresco dining area, well appointed kitchen/ dining room. Beautiful, large south facing garden which is dog friendly and secure with off street parking for 3 cars. The cottage is located 50m from Devon's Tarka cycle trail . Close to the beaches and 50 mt from the Tarka trail. We have 4 bikes for hire. Dogs welcome The space The accommodation comprises of a large master bedroom with king size bed on the ground floor with easy access. Two more cottage bedrooms each with double bed and one with TV in. There is a comfortable lounge with DVD player and TV with BT tv package. A large well equipped kitchen and dining area with dishwasher, large two oven cooker and microwave. The dining table can be extended to seat 8. There is a smaller room with bed settee that has an office desk and chair in. Entrance hall. Fast, fibre Internet and broadband is available free for guests. The large bathroom has a newly fitted walk in shower with full sized bath, heated towel rail and under floor heating. The mature, south facing, private garden is private and extensive and is dog secure. There is a covered tiled gazebo and Al fresco dining area which has screens that allow it to be used in all weather. There is a large chiminea bbq and Ooni pizza oven. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there some fantastic walks that are easily accessed from the cottage without the need to get in the car. Other things to note We have two medium and two large/extra large bikes you can hire during your stay. £10 per bike, per day. We also provide helmets.
