We are a small self-catering Inn located on the lush banks of the Rapidan River nestled within in the historic Raccoon Ford district of Culpeper, Virginia. We have two well appointed rooms available. With our own private, secluded sand beach on the Rapidan River, we are your destination for reconnecting with nature and reviving your spirit. The space More than JUST a room. We are a small working farm located on the banks of the historic Rapidan River in the Raccoon Ford District of Culpeper County, VA. The chickens will greet you as you arrive as will Booge, our farm dog, mascot & The Mayor Of Raccoon Ford. The owner was raised in his family's Italian Bakery in Little Italy, NYC and there is always something tasty being baked. Additionally, all guests receive a complimentary box of home baked Biscotti. With our own private Beach on the Rapidan River and a selection of Kayaks & Tubes, we are your destination for year round fun and relaxation for the mind, body & soul. Come join us! Guest access Entrance to the Inn is off the patio and through the Sunroom. Guests have full use of the Inn, private lockable bedroom, private bath, private living room & front porch. Kitchen is shared with the host, host has separate apartment and entrance. Guests have full access to our Secluded Private Beach, use of firepits, grills, bicycles & river tubes are included. Kayaking and Tubing excursions from up river down to our own private beach are also available. During your stay As the owner of The Inn at Raccoon Ford, I take the role of Concierge more than just as an absentee host. It is my goal to make your stay here as one of your greatest memories with Airbnb. Your stay here is based on you entirely and how much involvement you want me to have in your stay, so there are 3 different levels of host involvement while you are here. 1. I can keep to myself and you'll never know I'm on the property. You will be entirely on your own to explore the property and the river. 2. I can help you with planning your stay here to include river tubing/kayaking, things to do in the area, local entertainment, dining, etc., etc.. Or 3. We can all hang out and socialize. Other things to note We are a 420 friendly property and guests are welcome to partake of their herbs of choice while here. We follow ALL Virginia laws concerning the consumption of cannabis and we restrict the age of our customers and their guests to 18+. All guests are greeted with a complimentary box of Biscotti and other goodies.
