Cabin in Myrkdalen (Voss/Nærøyfjord/Flåm area)

The cabin is located in the beautiful valley of Myrkdalen, 30 minutes drive from the city of Voss and 2 hours drive from the city of Bergen. Myrkdalen is perfectly located if you want to do hiking, cycling, fishing or just explore the fjords and mountains on the west coast of Norway. Nærøyfjorden (part of Hardangerfjorden) with the places like Flåm, Gudvangen, Aurland and Undredal is all within 1 hours drive from the cabin. Sognefjorden can also be reached within a 1 hour drive over Vikafjell. The space The cabin is positioned in an idyllic location, surrounded by trees and with no immediate neighbours. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to be centrally located in Myrkdalen but at the same time have the option to fully relax in the middle of the Norwegian nature. The cabin consist of a living room with open kitchen, 2 x bedrooms, a bathroom, a hallway and a loft providing additional and flexible sleeping arrangements. There is a great outdoor area around the cabin ensuring that both fun activities and relaxation can be accommodated for during your stay. One bedrooms consist of 1 x bunk bed where the bottom bed is suitable for 2 people to sleep. (120 cm width). The other bedroom consist of 1 x bed suitable for 2 people to sleep (120 cm width) Please note that the picture of this bedroom show a bunk bed but the top bed has now been removed for better comfort in this bedroom. There is also a loft in the cabin where there is 2 mattresses available. The loft area is only suitable for sleeping arrangements as the height between the floor and roof is low. There is duvets and pillows for 6 people available. There is bed linen fitted on the beds for 4 people ready in the cabin. If more than 4 people (max 6) is to stay in the cabin the guests need to fit bed linen to the mattresses/duvet/pillow in the loft. The additional bed linen is provided and can be found on top of the beds in the loft (sheet for mattress, duvet cover and pillow cover + towels) The terrace is accessible direct from the living room and fitted with fixed sitting/dining arrangements for 6 people. In addition, there is also 3 x portable sun beds and 2 x portable chairs available for use. The terrace also contains an outdoor fireplace with BBQ possibilities. There is a big lawn outside the cabin. This is a great place for different activities and garden games. A selection of garden games is available. Important safety information: Please note that there is a steep hill from the edge of the lawn at two of the sides. All visitors should take proper care when using the lawn and special attention should be made towards small children playing. There is also one small 3rd bedroom that is not available for the guest as this is used to store owners personal belongings. This room is locked and marked “private”.
