This is a private room in a larger house that can accommodate 1-2 people. The entire house and amenities are available on a shared basis with the other two rooms listed on AirBnB. The area is peaceful and beautiful, right on Kalutara river and walking distance to the Kalutara bodhaya temple. The space Look for a quiet place to relax and inspire? This listing is for a 1 bedroom suite with A/C and attached bathroom in a historic Riverside villa. Adjoining furnished kitchen with cooktop and washing machine, as well as a sitting / dining area. A billiards table and fast WiFi make passing the time easy! Large open spaces and outdoor areas with a huge garden, watch the sunset over the river and have a cool drink in the many lounge chairs! Guest access Guests who rent this bedroom will have shared access to the property including the large foyer with pool table, living room, dining space, and 2 kitchens. The garden (~ 1/2 acre) is completely open for your enjoyment, as well as a large covered rear verandah. During your stay An English speaking relative or family friend will greet guests initially. A “caretaker” lives on the property in separate accommodations for security and taking care of the garden. Other things to note Please bring bug repellent! Naturally, being close to the river there are mosquitos. Mosquito coils will be provided, and we recommend closing the doors at 5pm/(dusk) to keep the rooms bug free.
