There are many walking and cycling trails within the Lake District National Park and numerous places of interest, including Beatrix Potter’s house, Hill Top, Dove Cottage, Go Ape at Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum. The market town of Penrith is only 10 minutes drive away, where there are a variety of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs.
