One block to the Beach. Access is through public walkways. A short walk to the IGA grocery & Ace Hardware, Basil’s Pizza and other stores. We have made major improvements every year. Major projects are complete. We honor Airbnb policy prohibiting parties and events: That said, enjoy SUMMER FUN-HOLIDAYS-SPRING BREAK SPECTACULAR GOLF SEASON - OCTOBER THRU APRIL We allow pets for an extra fees of $15 per night per pet. We promise a large, well maintained, clean, comfortable and affordable house. Centrally located in the heart of the Cherry Grove Beach community, it is just one block from the beach and town center. We promise to do all we can to make your stay enjoyable while not intruding on your privacy. The pool is 15 x 25 feet with painted concrete decking. We mainly accommodate chaperoned young people, extended families, church groups. A large group of Duke University Orchestra students have stayed with us. The pool and proximity to town center make this spacious house very popular among vacationers. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Sturdy wooden furniture, faux leather couches and TVs in the living room and at least 3 bedrooms make the house very user friendly. But when all is said and done, we need to emphasize the house was built a half century ago. In addition we serve very large groups and are fully booked during peak seasons. We do not promise hotel accommodations, amenities or services. We are available should you need us but respect your privacy. So you expect luxury accommodations please look elsewhere. We have combination locks on the main entrance. The house, yard, pool and parking areas are private and reserved for you exclusively. Your Host will inspect the property before you arrive to assure it meets our standards with respect to repair and cleanliness. Your Host will establish contact, primarily by text messaging. Please contact your Host a day or more and a few hours prior to arrival. Your Host will provide entry, answer questions and otherwise be available to make your stay enjoyable. Technical, maintenance and other personnel are available on short notice when required. You can rest assured our dedicated team of support personnel will do their very best to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Your Hostess warrants the kitchen and bathrooms have been cleaned, floors vacuumed and mopped and that all appliances are operational or will be taken care of ASAP. Look up 213 25th Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach SC VIEWING THE VIDEO: The Drone was about 100 feet above my house and next to two of our rental houses: My house has a widows' walk with a red umbrella. BREEZY is the two story "Light Green" house with a pool. The Gallery (also listed on Airbnb) is the "Dark Green" house two houses closer to the beach compared to Breezy. The Drone camera turns 360 degrees to show the entire area. We were milling around our Widow's Walk while the video was recording. It doesn't take much to entertain us. Another rental house (listed as Beachy on Airbnb) appears about 2 minutes into the video. It is the two-story "Green" house on pilings with pavers in the driveway. You can see the beach from the top balcony. LETTER SENT TO A YOUTH COACH WITH EVENT AT SPORTS COMPLEX Would like to accommodate you. Your group of 25 could all stay in Breezy but you would not have much privacy. I get the impression you would prefer two houses close together. Breezy and The Gallery would be a great choice for you. Breezy has two bedrooms downstairs and four upstairs. Each bedroom has two double or queen beds. Your 12 young people could stay upstairs sleeping double while each of 4 adults could be downstairs in separate beds. The front door of the Gallery is 50 feet from Breezy and on the same side of the street. The Gallery has five separate bedroom and a total of two queen beds, one double and 5 single beds plus two futons. In addition, each level has separate dead bolt lock entrances. So the two combined would provide a lot of privacy. Also, there are a total of 7 bathrooms in the two houses and 3 outdoor showers. Plus Breezy has a nice big pool and each house will have a patio with gas and charcoal grills - being constructed now. In addition, The Gallery is well suited for a group of 10 - 12 adults so recruiting a few more parents would lower your cost per person. Your cost for a group of 22 would be in the neighborhood of $30 to $50 per person per night depending on several variables. Let me know if you are interested and I send a Special Offer for your consideration. Everything is convenient with grocery shopping and restaurants literally across the street. For golfers and fishermen your venues are within one to five miles away. Twenty or more golf courses are within 10 miles of our houses. Uber and taxi services are readily available for night owls who want to frequent bars and restaurants two or three miles from here. A Brief History Please do not expect luxury or hotel-like accommodations and service. The house was built in 1970 so it is not new. That said: We purchased Breezy in April 2017 from a group that catered almost exclusively to high school graduations and frat parties. Maintenance had been neglected for many years but had potential, including very large rooms, and great location - especially for us. We live directly behind Breezy, own and rent another house we call the Gallery next door and have nieces and nephews who live behind us and between our rental houses. So we have a strong interest in improving the neighborhood. And that is what we have done since the Gallery was acquired in 2013. In 2017 we acquired Breezy and have been making improvements each year since. We installed a new air conditioning system the month it was acquired and spruced up the inside. In 2018 we renovated the pool, graveled the parking areas, paved the driveway and did a lot of other outside work. In 2019 we built the patio with a natural gas fire pit and grill. We also installed a natural gas water heater and on-demand water heater. Shower all you like the hot water will never run out. New flooring was laid down in 1920 and lots of painting inside and out. Our "Bug Man" treats the premises monthly and as needed so bug problems are continuously monitored and dealt with. In 2020 we reroofed the house and installed flat LED lighting in all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Refencing the back yard and pool area were major upgrades in 2022. Almost forgot to mention the pool was completely refurbished about 4 years ago and is maintained year round with cleaning three times a week during peak months. During the peak season we rent the whole house to large groups of 12 or more. We cannot predict what kind of coffee, shampoo, tooth paste and other essentials you may prefer and do not provide them. However, all of our mattresses are encased for protection against spills and other hazards. Futons and most chairs are faux leather for easy cleaning. We supply pillows, sheets and pillow cases for each bed and for futons when required but beds are not made up except upon request and with an extra charge ($10 per bed). We provide 3 or more bath towels, 3 hand towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper and one bottle of hand soap in each bathroom. The kitchen is supplied with a bottle of dish washing liquid, dish washer soap, paper towels, hand soap and other kitchen essentials. The laundry room has one bottle of liquid soap. Groups that stay longer than a day or two need to shop for additional supplies. We should also note that we do not have a disposal in the kitchen nor are our refrigerators equipped with ice makers. Sand from the beach clog disposals requiring constant replacement. Similarly, ice makers are inadequate for the clientele we generally serve. Bag ice is available from Boulineau’s and other places at a nominal cost. The house, yard, pool and parking areas are private property reserved exclusively for our guests. There is parking space for 7 vehicles. Responsible young adults will always be welcome as well as large family, church, orchestra and similar groups that enjoy vacationing together.
