During summers, we encourage enjoying the natural airflow by opening windows, keeping the ambiance refreshing. Unless specified, we maintain a comfortable 72 degrees when the A/C is on, and request the windows be kept closed during such times. Experience mild winters in Del Rey, with the heat tuned to a cozy 69 degrees. Your room features an area heater, allowing you to adjust your climate to your liking. During your stay At Casa del Rey, your comfort and privacy are paramount. While we, the hosts, reside on the premises, we maintain a discreet presence, ensuring you enjoy a serene stay. Other things to note Meet Tiago, our delightful five-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, who is a well-mannered and exceedingly friendly part of our family. He might even be part of your welcoming committee, offering you a warm wag and a friendly woof! We celebrate diversity and inclusivity, ensuring a welcoming, LGBTQ-friendly environment for all our guests. We live on the second floor with our 1 year old girl and 3 year old boy who you might see and hear walking around with his live-in caregiver and teacher. Our little ones are in bed by 7 pm and sleep through the night now, phew! Please observe our Quiet Hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. to maintain a serene atmosphere for everyone. While we are pet-friendly, we don't allow other dogs to ensure that our unsocialized dog only interacts with humans and not other animals. We encourage you to explore the plethora of activities in the vibrant L.A. area online. To make your stay more convenient, we offer transportation back to LAX upon request, when possible. However, having UBER ready or arranging other transportation is recommended if you do not have a car, ensuring a seamless travel experience in the city.
