Our comfortable casa is located in the heart of Albuquerque’s Old Town. Walk to the plaza, the Saw Mill District, museums and more. Traditional details and all the amenities make this a perfect long or short term home base to explore the Land of Enchantment. Well-stocked full kitchen, efficient central air/heat, two bathrooms, brick and saltillo tile floors, viga ceilings, fenced-in backyard, and outdoor dining furniture adorn this historic Watson adobe. The space Notable Amenities Include: *King bed + full size sofa bed in primary bedroom, Queen size bed in second bedroom *En-suite bathroom with large shower in owner's suite; second full bath in main house *Fully stocked kitchen with new LG gas stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher *High speed internet *55" Smart TV in living room and 40" TV in owner's suite with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO, Apple TV *Dedicated office space with stand-up/adjustable desk, comfy chair, laptop stand, second monitor, and laser printer *Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and fluffy towels *Feminine hygiene products and makeup remover *Yoga mat and kettlebells *Keyless private entrance *Dining table that seats six in dining room *Washer and dryer and all necessary cleaning supplies provided *Please note that the fireplace and wood stove are non-functioning. Two space heaters are provided for your use *Access to large, fenced backyard with lounge and dining seating, propane heater, plenty of shade and gas BBQ grill *Room for one vehicle in driveway and plenty of off-street parking *Quiet, safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors Guest access Guests have access to the entire back house. The casita at the front of the property is a separate rental with its own entrance. Please note the front patio belongs to the casita. Home entrance is at the back of the driveway through an unlocked iron gate. We may ask for ID verification through the Airbnb app and require all guests to be included in the reservation. We appreciate your understanding. Other things to note Our casa is located at the back of the property. You are welcome to park on vehicle behind our SUV in the driveway - we will not require access to it during your stay. The small front casita is a separate rental, without access to the driveway. Please let us know if you have any issues. The front courtyard is reserved for our casita guests. Our home is cooled with individual split units. We would appreciate only using them in occupied areas of the home. Please utilize the cool evening air and the natural cooling properties of the adobe construction to maintain the temperature as possible! Neither fireplace is currently operational, so please – no fires. There are two portable space heaters, and you're welcome to use them if you get chilly! Our property is treated monthly with organic, non-toxic pest repellent that works well to keep pests at bay. However, this property is over 80 years old and located in a historic neighborhood in the high desert southwest where bugs are a part of everyday life. While we make every effort to keep our casa spotless for guests, we of course cannot control nature and therefore you may see the occasional cockroach, moth, or other bug. Please be aware of this possibility and consider your comfort level with it before booking. An exterior camera monitors the driveway for security.
