Crabby Jack's Beach House

Crabby Jack’s Beach House is a 3 bedroom, pet-friendly holiday home which sleeps up to 6 people, and offers parking for up to 4 vehicles. Crabby Jack’s Beach House is located in the tranquil and quiet seaside community of Baudin Beach and is just a 300 metre walk to two beautiful safe swimming beaches (one with boat launching facilities), multiple walking trails, a local art gallery and an abundance of wildlife and nature. The space Features of the house: -Master room: Queen size bed overlooking Crabby Jack's Beach, the nature reserve and sand dunes. -2nd Bedroom offers a double bed -3rd bedroom fitted with bunk beds, a tv, and two bean bags (perfect for a kids or second chillout space). -Large open living/dining area and kitchen, containing a lounge, 8 seater wooden dining table, large gas stainless steel oven, and a combustion wood fire heater and oven. This spacious open area provides beautiful sea views overlooking the nature reserve, sand dunes and Crabby Jack’s Beach. At night time you will see the lights from American River and Island Beach. -Crabby Jack’s Beach House offers a small front deck with table and chairs to soak in the beautiful and tranquil sea views. -Crabby Jack’s Beach House is directly opposite a beautiful nature reserve adding to the serenity of the location. -The laundry includes a washing machine and an opening to the large, fenced backyard, which includes a clothes line. The backyard is perfect for pets, and has plenty of room for games and outdoor activities. A large dog Kennel and pet bowls are provided for your furry friend's comfort. -Bathroom: The bathroom features a large cast iron clawed bath to indulge in the ultimate in self pampering. Please note - the shower is situated over the clawed bath, therefore, you need to step into the bath to take a shower! Other things to note Crabby Jack's Beach House is located just 9km out of Penneshaw, where the ferry arrives. Kingscote, the main township of Kangaroo island, is just a 35 minute drive away. Other than the flora and fauna, Baudin Beach provides many opportunities for beachside activities, including great fishing and diving. Snorkel or dive for crayfish, oysters or scallops and more! Local attractions: -Penneshaw is only 9kms away and features cafe's, eateries, a pub, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a post office, a sports oval, skate park, bbq facilities and a beautiful swimming beach. Please be aware that Kangaroo Island does not have a public transport system, therefore, a personal or hired vehicle is necessary for travel. A SeaLink shuttle bus operates twice per day and connects with the SeaLink ferry. Please take care while driving on the Island, as there are many unsealed, dirt roads and an abundance of wildlife (particularly around dusk, night time and dawn). Crabby Jack's Beach House provides all bed linen, however, towels are not included. Currently, there is no wheelchair access through the front or the back entrance to the house. Both entrances include steps.
