Casa do Sobrado in Arouca

Rustic villa, from 1851, located in the heart of Albergaria da Serra, in Arouca. A typical, very old village, consisting mostly of Serrano-type houses, made of granite stone and thatched and shale roofs. It is common, several times a day, to come across the village's sidewalk paths, with "traffic" of grazing animals, namely the Arouquesa cows, a certified and protected species, raised in the valleys and hills of the Serra da Freita.
