renovated traditional Finnish home by the riverside of the majestetic Kemijoki, just on the foot of the Ounasvaara downhill, ski-jump and cross-country centre. Walking distance to city centre and yet you are in a separate house surrounded by a large garden. Room for up to 10 people in four rooms, but more comfy for up to 8. Suitable for families, couples, groups. X country ski in the forest on lit trails or on the frozen river, or swim and boat in the river in summer. SUPboard & bikes for rent The space There is one master bedroom with a double bed, a very small bedroom with two single beds, in the living and fireplace room, there are two double bed, sofas; plus there is another bed sofa in the kitchen/dining room. Guest access Guess will have the entire house for yourself, there’s also includes garden, and free parking, and access to the outdoor sauna. Other things to note Sauna is wood fired, and available outside in a barrel by the River. Which means you will have to make a fire yourself, and fetch water either from the river, or in buckets from the house. But the outdoor sauna feeling gives you a genuine insight in Finnish tradition. Please us this ONLY AFTER you have read all the instructions posted on the sauna and feel comfortable handling this nice challenge! Please note: the listing price here does NOT include the fee for bedding and towels. Many guests for come with their own and prefer to save the laundry fee. If you want to use local bedding, please order from us before your trip. The laundry company charges a fee of 12 EUR per person. One set includes sheet, duvet-cover, pillow-cover, hand towel and bath towel for each person. If you order these, we will request you that money via the airbnb app.
