Victorian house in central Berkhamsted

A two storey Victorian terraced house in this historic market town a few minutes walk from the Rex Cinema, High Street, Grand Union Canal & Berkhamsted Train Station (London 35 minutes). Berkhamsted hosts a wide range of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, twice weekly market whilst surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Chiltern Hills AONB. The beautiful 5,000-acre National Trust Ashridge Estate & Ashridge Management College are a 15-minute drive. The space My light and airy house with its well-kept private garden will be all yours during your stay. Enter from the street into a cosy sitting room with a large sofa and Smart TV. On the other side of the hall is the modern, recently-fitted kitchen which is fully equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster, dining area and small desk, The pretty courtyard garden with outdoor seating is accessed via the utility room at the back of the house, which is equipped with washing machine, freezer and cloakroom WC. Stairs* lead up to the large master bedroom with a king-sized bed, large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, and a good sized chest of drawers. The second, smaller bedroom has a single bed and storage cabinet. Next to this is a bathroom with a large shower cubicle, bath and WC. Complimentary Wi-Fi runs throughout the house. *Please be aware that the staircase is quite narrow and steep, typical for a Victorian cottage. The landing has a step up/ step down layout so is unsuitable for small children and those with mobility issues. (last picture of my listing shows the view on to the landing from the master bedroom, this is where you step down and then up again to access the second bedroom and bathroom) If the dates you require are showing as unavailable please message me for confirmation. Other things to note Whilst I have stated that the house is unsuitable for children due to the steep stairs and landing layout I have had families stay without issue.
