Being situated halfway between the town of Bethel and the ski resort allows you to enjoy all that the area has to offer easily. If you spend your days on the slopes and evenings at the bowling alley, movie theater, or community ice rink, this spot makes coming and going a breeze. Tucker’s Hideaway is a private road that promises peace and quiet once you are done with the excitement of your day and are ready to unwind. The log-sided chalet has a welcoming, woodsy feel with all of the traditional touches that you would expect in a ski house. From the prominent wall of windows in the great room to the pine ceiling and accent walls throughout the house, the charm inside this home can be appreciated in any room. This floorplan makes you feel embraced by the environment as if you are letting nature in. An open concept layout makes the windows and fireplace the focal point of the main living level. It’s natural to gather in front of the fireplace and settle in to watch the snow fall outside. The soaring ceilings and comfy furniture will keep you happy here for hours. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare and store food at the house. The island is oriented to face the great room, which makes it possible to carry on a conversation with those who are cooking easily. On the lower level, a sprawling second living room lends itself to those who want more privacy or some space to play games, watch a movie, or kick back with a book.
