At times the valley is beautifully blanketed in a sea of clouds, living up to the name ‘Misty Ridge’. Wildlife often visit - you may see kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, colourful parrots, kookaburras, echidnas and goannas around the lodge. Roo and bird food are provided for a truly interactive experience. Look out for the spectacular wedge tailed eagle flying over the valley. Guest access Misty Ridge is part of Eaglereach Wilderness Retreat where you can enjoy the shared facilities including pool, games pavilion, tennis court, kids playground, outdoor gym, and BBQ picnic areas. Explore bushwalking trails, picturesque dams with picnic facilities or Mt George lookout. Please note the 4x4 tracks are now closed. Other things to note Note: When booking please let us know the number of rooms you require. For example 2 people would usually require the king room only, other bedrooms not booked are locked but may be opened on request for additional guests if required (extra guest fee may apply). Sorry, strictly no pets allowed as this is a wilderness retreat. Due to the proximity to the escarpment, children must be supervised at all times.
