Description
Our guest house is located on a property of over 2 hectares directly on the nature reserve "Noorderleech". The largest salt marsh area in Europe and one of the darkest places in the Netherlands. Still undiscovered but very special. In addition to tranquility, nature, beautiful starry skies and thousands of birds, we offer you a glimpse into our art workshop. Because we are a place where artists can also stay for a longer period of time. The space Our guest house is the old "part" of the farm that was there. Completely designed by Stephan (architect), where no concessions were made, but we did everything we could to create a nice atmosphere. If you like a touch of retro, this is your place! In addition to the spacious rooms (20-34m2), we have created a beautiful living kitchen with an open kitchen. Fully equipped, each room has its own bathroom. 1 room is accessible to the disabled. Guest access You have the whole house at your disposal during your stay, with its own entrance and also its own terrace. But if you prefer to be on the large terrace, that's fine too. You can immediately enter our watchtower. At 24 meters high, you have a great view over the mudflats. Other things to note If you come by public transport, please let us know, and we will be happy to pick you up at the bus stop in Marrum. We are up for a party, but prefer not to have it in our guest house that we have renovated and furnished with a lot of love. For the same reason, we don't think frying, gourmet, fondue or stone grilling is a good idea.
