B&B at Clough Bottom, Bamford

Clough Bottom is positioned perfectly for those wanting to explore what the Peak District has to offer, whether that be by foot, bike, car or train. Our beautiful cosy cottage is 1 mile from Bamford Edge, ideal for catching both the sunrise and sunset, as well as a starting point for multiple walks. Wake up to the prettiest view from your window, enjoy a book in the window seat and relax in our private garden. Our very friendly golden retriever will welcome you with open arms (kisses) The space Our place is a charming 18th Century cottage with lots of architectural quirks. The thick walls give plenty of space for window seats in the bedroom and the dining room. In the winter our wood burning fire and Aga in the kitchen provide plenty of warmth to take the chill off after exploring the Peaks The garden is raised from the road and surrounded by mature trees giving a feeling of privacy. Your bedroom is at the front of the house looking down into the valley with full privacy and seclusion, offering an idyllic view to wake up to. Guest access Guests will have full access to downstairs including the kitchen, dining room/Snug, living room and W/C. Upstairs there is the shared bathroom and your private room. Outside you have full use of the garden which is raised above the road offering seclusion and privacy while catching the sun throughout the morning and early afternoon During your stay We are more than happy to chat with guests and make you feel at home as much as possible when you stay. We will be around and can offer recommendations for the local area Other things to note Please note we have a very friendly Golden Retriever dog as a pet. She will be in the house throughout your stay, so please book only if you are comfortable with dogs. Please ensure to always close the gate when entering and leaving the property.
