Colonial Dream: Entire basement family getaway

A cozy getaway perfect for families and groups. Enjoy the convenience of close proximity to downtown Idaho Falls shops, restaurants, I-15, and the Idaho Falls airport while maintaining privacy and seclusion in a quiet neighborhood kitty-corner to Kate Curley Park. A close stay to tourist attractions like Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, and Bear World. Guests may enjoy our television, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plate and washer/dryer. Kitchen space has just been finished. The space A charming antique two-story Colonial House. Guests will have access to the basement apartment with three rooms and a dining area (full kitchen currently in construction process). Room 1 has a queen bed, television, and beanbag. There is room to set up a baby play pen and a large bean bag. This is a pass-through room with a decorative fireplace (non-functioning) which leads to Room 2. Room 2 is an annexed space with a trundle bed, window, and separate lighting. Room 3 has two separate oak twin beds, dimming lights, and a curtained entrance (no solid door). Each room has a built in manually operated heater. The basement apartment also features a dining table with four chairs, a full bathroom with multi-head shower, shared washer/dryer, and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, hot plate, and dishes. We have just finished a new kitchen sink with disposal amd have a new fridge, dishwasher, and oven/range coming. In addition, there is a wash bin next to the washer/dryer to RINSE items if necessary (NO FOOD PARTICLES OR OBJECTS IN THE WASH BIN; there is no disposal). Guest access Guests will have their own access to the breezeway door (next to the garage) and the basement. The entrance door to the basement is directly across from the breezeway door and has 12 steps leading to the living area (we ask that you remove shoes upon entering carpeted stairs, there is a shoe tray at the top and bottom of the stairs). Guests have access to the basement: three bedrooms, the dining area, kitchenette, bathroom, and the washer/dryer. *The laundry area is shared with the hosts. Guests are asked not to use or access any closets or the pantry. If you need special access to the garage to keep a kennel or pet container, please contact us in advance so we can make accommodations. Otherwise, guests can put their kennel/animal container in the mudroom which is the space right when you enter the breezeway. NO ANIMALS allowed unless it is an absolute medical necessity (animals can be detrimental to the host's health). Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises due to family members with oxygen use and health conditions; if necessary, smoking must take place in the alley way or elsewhere off the property. Other things to note Street parking is available on the west side of Emerson Avenue or south side of 10th Street as well as around Kate Curley Park.
