55 S Market St #212 - Downtown Asheville!

Welcome to Asheville! Located in the 55 S Market Street building this condo isn't just 'close to downtown', it is in the heart of it all! Walk out the door and explore all the exciting restaurants, art, and events that Asheville has to offer. Private gated parking makes coming and going easy when you head out to explore the mountains. If you are traveling with little ones, we also provide many items to make your stay convenient! The space *** After the devastation of Hurricane Helene of the region late last year Asheville is open for tourism; our small businesses and hospitality industry are in need of your visit! Most areas are back up and running as usual, however some businesses have been forced to close, and you will notice there is major cleanup and reconstruction happening in major flood corridors (like the River Arts District). Reach out to us if you have any questions and check ahead of time with your favorite spots to ensure there aren't any changes to consider! *** We are really excited to share our downtown condo with you! When we moved to Asheville years ago we were drawn to the outdoor lifestyle and mountain activities along with the amazing city. It's small but vibrant and really easy to explore. 55 Market St is a great home base for city exploration and with private parking it makes it easy to get out to the mountains as well. We have created a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that we hope you will enjoy as much as we do. We hope you'll be able to use the area to relax and recharge. The condo has high end furnishings, local art and decor, and the kitchen is equipped for staying in if you choose! There is a king bed in the bedroom as well as a queen size pull-out couch in the living room. We have high speed fiber internet and two UHD smart TV's. There are no house streaming accounts so you'll need to sign into your favorite streaming services! The unit is on the second floor but is actually ground level from the parking deck. This makes for easy access with no steps. If you enter through the main entrance on S Market street you will take an elevator up to the second floor. The condo has a small private balcony overlooking the street and Triangle Park. The building has a beautiful shared patio with several commercial grills and outdoor furniture. There is also a lobby area with seating, tables, and an office if needed. These areas are all shared and first come first served. With check out you'll be asked to take the trash out (there is a chute just a few feet down the hall), strip the bed, and start a load of laundry. Please note that this condo is permitted as approved lodging by the City of Asheville and legal for short term rentals! There are 20 units within the building on the first and second floor that are approved for this use. Short Term Rentals are typically not allowed within city limits except for homestays and other exceptions. We have three unique properties around Asheville that each offer a different experience! If our condo doesn't quite fit your needs or timing please check out our other places. Guest access You'll have access to the entire condo, except the utility closets. Other things to note We have three young kids and we love taking them on adventures! If you are traveling with kids we want to make your stay convenient. We provide a stroller, high chair, pack n play (with sheets), step stool, hiking back pack, and a few toys and coloring supplies!
