Relax with your family in this cozy gated community townhome, a two minute drive to the beach! We offer a quiet & safe stay here in Bahia de Matagorda as well as access to the pool. The space The space offers a large open living room with a couch & tv, with a full kitchen & island. There are two bedrooms, one master with a comfortable queen size bed in the lower level and an open loft upstairs with two full size beds and a bathroom. There are two decks with great views of the Matagorda estuaries as well as the Gulf of Mexico. *Also, there is an ice machine as well as washer and dryer access at the pool club house!* SMALL pets are allowed only if host is asked & notified before booking. Pets are not allowed on the couch or beds. Other things to note Matagorda beach is awesome for shell and sea glass hunting! If you have a 4x4 you can drive 23 miles down the beach! Matagorda is well known for its wonderful fishing! You can surf fish, hire a fishing guide for the bays, or bring your own boat. There are public boat ramps by Matagorda harbor, Rawlings bait camp & Wayne’s bait camp. If you’re a bird watcher, Matagorda has been listed number one multiple times in the national birding count for a variety of species! Overall, Matagorda is a special place and of course, after all your activities, you can relax at Casa de Marta and the pool!
