This private guest suite is truly one-of-a-kind. Located in Eagle River just 15-20 minutes from Downtown Anchorage, you’ll be close to the outdoors, but conveniently located to all that Eagle River and Anchorage have to offer. Our space has been designed with your comfort in mind. Watch a movie, read a book, or play some board games. The basement, which was once used as a recording studio, has been converted into a game room with ping pong and a small basketball hoop! Our home is 4-floors. We live on the top 2, and you’ll have access to the bottom 2 through the back door. The main guest floor has the bedroom, bathroom, and living room with basic kitchen appliances like a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster (no sink, stove, or oven). There is also a staircase that leads down to the recording studio rooms, which have been turned into a game room with a basketball game and ping pong table. For beds, there is a queen bed, one twin bed, and 2 couches, one of which is large enough for an adult to sleep on, so we have the guest limit set to 4. You’ll have a personalized door code to gain access to the space through your own door in the back yard. There will also be a locked door separating our floors from yours. Access to the guest back door is in the backyard. There is an unpaved slope leading down and around to the back, so keep that in mind when planning your stay. We are more than happy to message and answer any/all questions you may have during your stay! We’ll be just upstairs. Our home is in a quiet culdesac, and we ask that you be very respectful of our neighbors. Guest parking will be in the culdesac, and only one vehicle is allowed. We are just 1 minute from the highway, but are also completely surrounded by trees to make for a secluded, quiet space to enjoy. Lots of great restaurants and breweries are within walking distance, as well as a city park and walking trails. A Fred Meyer grocery store is a 1 minute drive away as well. You will park in the guest parking within the culdesac, and walk down and around to the back door. Mind the slope!
