Welcome to our home! Relax in our renovated 2-bedroom English basement, located near the heart of the city but in our quiet, friendly neighborhood. The space has been renovated and outfitted with modern amenities. Full kitchen, desk with monitor, mouse and keyboard. Washer & dryer. Walk to nearby parks and restaurants like Boundary Stone and Pub & The People. You’ll be steps away from major bus routes and bikeshare stations. Street parking is easy and ample compared to other D.C. neighborhoods. Other things to note We live in a separate unit upstairs and are here to help you enjoy our neighborhood as much as we do! We have an infant, a toddler and two cats. (Our air conditioning system is separate from the downstairs unit, so allergies shouldn’t be a concern!) We try to keep it down up here, and we have soundproofed the locked door that connects our two units. Good news for those traveling with kiddos: we have lots of recs for parks, kid-friendly spot and even have some gear that we can share. Just ask! We have traveled a lot with our kiddos and know what a win it is to discover bath toys or a high chair unexpectedly in a rental. We have a Level 2 EV charger that guests are welcome to use for several hours during their stay to get a full charge.
