The internationally renowned Todber fishing Lakes are a short stroll away. Dorset’s stunning Jurassic coastline is 45/50 minutes drive away. Closer to home are the historic towns of Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton and Sherborne. Numerous Farm shops and pubs are close by. The space Well equipped kitchen with oven, hob and small fridge. Bathroom with shower. The table folds up to reveal a short (190 length) single bed. The sofa pulls out to reveal a double bed. Above the double bed is a pull out pipe cot (similar to a hammock). The single bed and pipe cot are more suited to sleep children and petite adults. In cooler weather the hobbit wood burner will ensure you feel warm and cosy. The expansive deck provides an outside dining space. Below the deck is a hard standing area for the fire bowl (sitting around the fire bowl, toasting marshmallows and gazing at the night sky is a experience to be treasured). Bed linen, towels, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and shower gel all provided. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the above ground 24ft by 12ft pool; this is not heated so the temperature varies according to the weather. In dry weather you can park next to your shepherds huts; in winter you may need to park a short walk away across the paddock so in winter it’s worth bringing those wellies and a torch Other things to note You will be provided with a welcome pack which includes, milk, butter, bread, and eggs. The owners grow their own organic veg - their polytunnel grown tomatoes are said to be the sweetest and tastiest you could wish for - which can be purchased by guests for a small donation
