A place for adventure in the shadows of Mt Katahdin. Located on a quiet dead end road with many Amish people and horses . The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Baxter park, Katahdin woods and waters national monument, hiking, biking and white water rafting nearby. ATV and snowmobile from here on fantastic statewide trail system. Groceries, restaurant and fuel 5 minutes away. Shin pond 30 miles-Milli Houlton, Lincoln 45 miles- Bangor 85 miles. The space A fantastic view of the mountain is seen from upstairs or down. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 up as well as a full bath on both floors. The great room has seating for 12, dining table for 8 as well as pool table, hot tub ,dart board and glass front wood stove. A large front deck with picnic table and chairs is out front. There is also a smaller room for quiet conversation or relaxing and a screened porch for even more room. Guest access The entire home is available for use except the garage which will be available in the future. Other things to note We also host weddings and other events.
