On the upper level, you’ll find a cozy TV room, a convenient laundry area, and three comfortable bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and beautiful views of the lake, making it a peaceful place to start and end your day. The second bedroom offers two single beds, ideal for kids or friends, while the third bedroom includes a double bed and more tranquil lake views. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower completes this level. Downstairs, the heart of the cottage opens up into a bright and spacious living area with large windows that frame the lake and bring the outdoors in. The dining area, anchored by a charming wood-burning stove, is perfect for shared meals, board games, or cozy evenings by the fire. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from simple breakfasts to family dinners, and a second full bathroom with a tub adds extra comfort for longer stays. From the lower level, step outside to enjoy the best of indoor-outdoor living. During the winter months, road conditions in the Haliburton Highlands can be challenging, and all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicles with winter tires are mandatory for safe access. Please be aware that driveways, decks, steps, and pathways may become slippery or snow-covered. Guests are expected to use caution at all times. While snow removal is maintained as best as possible, the property owner and its representatives are not responsible for slips, falls, injuries, or accidents (including those resulting in death) related to winter travel or conditions. That said, the cottage offers a truly magical winter experience — from cozy nights indoors to snow-covered trails and frozen lake adventures. With proper preparation, you’ll be able to enjoy all the beauty and activities the season has to offer.
