The garage has inside access via a staircase close to the dining area and houses the following items for your use: -Canoe/oars and wheel transport to the boat launch -Paddleboard with oar and wheel transport to boat launch -Fridge and freezer for extra food storage -Lifejackets for safety (use with all watercraft sports) -Bag toss game -Recycling Bin & garbage bin Guests have the entire townhouse (indoor and out) to themselves and are free to relax and enjoy. THE GATE: The gate at the entry of the property is code protected which will be sent to you the day prior to your stay. THE FRONT DOOR: The front door has smart entry and you will be given a secure code that is exclusive to you only. This door code is also sent to you the day prior to your stay. THE BOAT LAUNCH: There are 4 boat launch locations around the lake which are all accessible via different pathways. The closest one to the townhouse is located near the entry gate. You will see the gate first and then a pathed path leading directly to the walking path around the lake and to the first boat launch. Swimming is also permitted and the boat launches or the bank can be used for access. THE LOCKED CABINETS: Locked cabinets are not to be tampered with as they home owners supplies. The Club is a semi-private classic Parkland Course located in the central Willamette Valley. McNary is a challenging 6,239-yard par-71 championship layout that is playable year-round. More information online. If boating or swimming or looking at the water is more "your thing," you'll be sure to be greeted by our friendly ducks and geese that roam near the waters edge. Fishing is allowed in Staats Lake as well but you will absolutely need a fishing pass. There is a 1.2 mile walking trail around shimmering Staats Lake so take a leisurely stroll or get in your morning jog. The hard part will be leaving! WHERE AND HOW TO PARK: Once you are through the entry gate and have arrived at the townhouse, you can park your car in the driveway. Don't forget to set that emergency brake though, the driveway is slightly steep. Parallel parking on the other side of the street is also allowed this year and is free but only a maximum of 2 vehicles TOTAL are allowed to be parked during your stay. Any additional cars can be parked on Shoreview drive on the other side of the entry gate but only if there are plenty of free spaces. FINDING THE WALKING PATH: The walking path that winds 1.2 miles around Staats lake can be accessed by the entry gate or at the far end of the housing district in the other direction. The path near the entry gate is closest. MEDICAL FACILITY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE: There is an Urgent Care located just about 2 blocks past the entry gate and within walking distance. There is also a bank, Walsh and Associates Law office, Hope Orthopedic surgery clinic and other various businesses in that same area.
