Mulberry Cottage is situated on a working small holding, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with direct access to a network of footpaths. The cottage has a private entrance, with views overlooking the fields and surrounding farmland, and fully enclosed garden. Watch and listen to the wildlife - and enjoy the company of sheep, alpacas, chickens and horses. Take a walk and enjoy the tranquil countryside. In the winter, cosy up next to the toasty log burner, or enjoy the dark starry skies. The space Downstairs, the one bed cottage includes a kitchen space with breakfast bar, sink, oven, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. A living space with television, and wood burning fire. And a dining area. You will also have your own fenced and dog secure garden to enjoy alfresco eating and drinking. Crockery, cutlery and basic cooking pans and utensils are provided. Upstairs features one large bedroom with a super king bed; which can be separated to two single beds if preferred. A large wardrobe is provided for clothes storage. The bedroom has glass doors allowing plenty of light, and views out to the beautiful countryside below. The bathroom has an overhead shower and bath. Bed linen, towels and a hairdryer are provided. One dog is welcome, but we do charge an additional deep cleaning fee of £10. Dogs are not permitted upstairs or on the furniture under any circumstances - this is for the comfort of future guests. Likewise we are happy to accept one infant, but note we do not have a fire guard or stair gate, and therefore list the property as unsuitable. Again, there will be an additional £10 fee added for infants. We can provide a high chair and travel cot if required. Please note: The TV is not a smart TV - we do provide a HDMI cable should you wish to bring a laptop. Guest access Enjoy a walk through the fields and around the beautiful lake. You are even welcome to fish! The lake is situated a short walk across three paddocks. Please note dogs must be kept on a lead due to animals. Other things to note Locally: - Cleobury Mortimer market town (2 miles) groceries, pubs, shops, restaurants, hairdressers, beauticians, running club, garage, Church and more! Thai, Indian, Chinese, Pizza, Kebabs and Fish and Chips takeaways are all available. - Restaurant ‘The Hopton Crown’ at Hopton Wafers (2 miles). Dog friendly in the bar. - A very dog friendly pub is The Royal Foresters in Far Forest (7 miles). This offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and is right by the Wyre forest. - Take a drive to Ludlow (10 miles) which is famous for its food, has a thrice weekly market and holds many festivals throughout the year, including its famous food and beer festivals. Why not visit the Castle whilst you are there! On route you’ll drive over the picturesque common and across Clee Hill with its incredible views! - Bewdley (10 miles) is an attractive Georgian town sitting directly upon the River Severn, an area with a rich agricultural and industrial history and a gateway to the Wyre Forest - with many beautiful walks and cycle routes. Within a 20 minute drive there are many family friendly attractions including: - West Midlands Safari Park - Severn Valley Railway - Stokesay Castle - Go Ape in Wyre forest - Ludlow Castle - Clee Hill views - The Aboretum at Arley Also locally: - Croft Castle National Trust - Berrington Hall National Trust - Witley Court
