Modern & Private Cottage Minutes From Woodstock

Fall is a lovely time for a getaway to the Catskills. The Autume colors are spectacular, and the air is cool and crisp. Our Cottage is very close to the iconic town of Woodstock. Stroll down Tinker Street, which is lined with restaurants, music venues, quirky, unique shops, and the Flea Market is a must see! At the end of a full day return to your cozy Cottage retreat. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy a quiet evening from your private deck. This is truly the place to relax, reset and rejuvenate. The space Enter the cottage from the large deck which runs the full length of the house. The entryway features a coat closet and seating bench. To the left of the entryway is a large bedroom. This charming room has a queen bed, French doors which open onto the deck, plenty of closet and drawer space and a hidden washer/dryer which you are welcome to use. The sweet writing nook has a window overlooking the forest and the lush lawn. Open the French doors in the morning and then jump back under your cozy down comforter and enjoy the view! The living room, dining room and kitchen are an open format. The vaulted ceiling makes this already large space seem even larger. It is light and airy and very comfortable. The decor throughout the cottage is urban-country chic with many surprising, whimsical accents that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all new, modern appliances. There is a dishwasher and a kitchen island which seats 2 people. There is a coffee maker, small espresso machine, toaster, and microwave. Just buy your groceries and you are all set. The dining table seats 6 The living room has a very comfortable sofa from Crate and Barrel which converts to a queen size bed. All sheets, duvets and pillows are supplied for you. There is plenty of seating around the large coffee table and there is a very quiet ceiling fan. French doors in this room also open to the deck. There are 7 windows all with room-darkening shades. It is a very sunny room. The floor in this part of the cottage, as well as in the bathroom is brushed concrete. The bathroom has a sink with storage beneath and a large mirror with lighting above. The step-in shower has a glass door. There is space to hang your robe and towels are provided. There is a blow dryer. There is heat and air-conditioning throughout the entire house. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor lighting. Outdoor motion sensor lighting assures you that you will never be in the dark on arrival. The deck is very large with views of the expansive lawn and the forest beyond. Woodstock is all about enjoying the outdoors, so we created the outdoor space to be as comfortable and inviting as the indoor space. In the morning bring your yoga mat out to the deck and enjoy doing your routine in the open air. Take the sun in the afternoon and in the evening grill up a sumptuous meal and finish by gazing at the open night sky. There are two Adirondack chairs on the deck, perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and an outdoor table and chairs which seats four. The cottage was designed to encourage a relaxed lifestyle both in-doors and out. So, kick off your shoes, unpack your bags take a deep breath of pure country air and enjoy! For your convenience there is an EV 2 charger at the parking. There is a fee to use the charger. Guest access The Cottage is the last house on the left at the end of a private road. Guests have their own private parking next to the cottage. The keys are located in a secure lock box next to the front door. The code for the box will be provided to you when you book your stay. When you return the key to the lockbox please remember to scramble the numbers. Other things to note We accept 2 small to medium size dogs per reservation. We do not accept cats. There is a $50 Pet fee per pet which will be added to your Airbnb guest fees. Please indicate in your reservation that you will be bringing a pet and indicate the number of pets. If any damages are incurred as a result of your pet you will be charged through Airbnb resolutions. Please, no pets on the bed or the couch. Dogs must be walked on a leash on Parker Lane at all times. Never leave your pet outside unattended. There are Hawks, Coyotes, Raccoons and other predatory animals in the area. Guests must clean up after their dog and place the waste in the bin provided on the outside of the shed. We have provided a water-resistant couch cover which you can put on the seat cushion to protect against any accidents that might happen on the couch. There are also 3 microfiber towels in the bedroom closet to dry your dog in case he/she is wet. Please do not use bath or kitchen towels to dry off your pet. -There is an Espresso machine in the kitchen and a small box of espresso pods to get you started. -The tap water in the cottage is perfectly fine for drinking.
