The House on the River in Corsica

This spacious and relaxed house welcomes you for a relaxing stay by the Prunelli River, which is suitable for swimming and accessible by a short private path. Old agricultural accommodation, renovated, it can accommodate many vacationers. It can also accommodate professional teams working in the region (cinema, theater, architecture, construction, co-working, etc.). Ten minutes from Ajaccio airport, beaches and all the amenities of the village of Bastelicaccia. The space Located on a market garden farm and bordered by the Prunelli River, the house is the former accommodation of the employees. You will access it via a private road on the farm. We chose a simple renovation that maintains the original collective spirit. From the large 50 m2 dining room we kept the worktop that goes from the kitchen area to the living room area, with several possible cooking stations. A large farm table invites you to spend time with friends and family. The bathroom is equipped with 4 sinks (no more waiting in line to brush your teeth! :), two showers and two separate toilets. A large dormitory with 4 single beds and a 15 m2 bedroom with two twin beds communicate with the common areas. Two other separate bedrooms (two single beds 15 m2 each) for the most independent travelers access the common areas through the exterior doors of the bathroom or the living room. Extra beds (possible extra charge) can be added to the bedrooms. Baby equipment (baby bed, bathtub and highchair) is available free of charge upon request. Portable hotplates can be plugged in outdoors for outdoor cooking. The garden surrounds the house with the river below to the south and the hills covered with oak and strawberry trees. A small path leads to a beach by the river for swimming. A large fig tree and a century-old olive tree border this side of the house. To the west, a wooden terrace with two deckchairs overlooks the river. Garden furniture and a barbecue are installed in direct connection with the kitchen area. Wi-Fi, workspaces are present. The place offers a large parking space that can accommodate several vehicles (cars, vans, minibuses, etc.) in the immediate vicinity of the house (free of charge of course).
