Fancy a stay in the past, but with today's standards and comfort? Then you are welcome to the farm Minde, a cozy Nordland house that has been renovated exterior and interior in a newer time. The original attempt has been taken care of both in shape and style, with old doors and painted timber walls. The house is centrally located in Inndyr old city centre, with proximity to the harbor, bus stop and shop. The space The house is registered in 1895, but is probably built in the middle of the 19th century. Then there was a homestead, but also contained a shoemaker workshop and lodging for travelers. The story goes that the writer Knut Hamsun was staying when he was traveling in Nordland. He stayed at the "kitchen loft" where there was a small hole in the floor down to the kitchen. From there he could follow the ladies' small talk, and get an insight into the place's life and life. But once when he arrived, his room was occupied, and the lady of the house could do nothing about it. Then he was insulted, left and never came back again. On Inndyr you will find great natural areas in the immediate vicinity. Duck slopes and Lemsundet can invite you to swim on a good weather day, and pole fishing from the rocks on Langholmen can quickly become the dinner of the day. The church path, which runs along the spring from Inndyr to Gildeskål church site, has its starting point close to the house. The cemetery that has a history back to the 4th century consists of two churches and a rectory. Gildeskål old church is from the 1100s and built in Romanesque style. After the fire of 1710, it was rebuilt and decorated in the Baroque style. Gildeskål main church is from 1881. If you thrive in height, a trip up to Høgfjellknub is recommended. Great view out over the sea, and on a clear day you can see the Lofot Mountains at the distance. In Holmvannet, which is close to Høgfjellsknubben, you can both swim and fish trout. Other things to note It can be difficult to get large suitcases up the stairs to the second floor.
