When outside in the courtyard, porch or rooftop, guests should care to keep down noise during siesta (2-4 pm) and at night (after 11 PM). Non- Israeli citizens are tax-exempt and are required to provide a picture of their passport and entry permit upon arrival. No check-ins allowed from Friday after sundown until Sunday. Included in the price: guests can checkout on Saturday after nightfall, up to 2 hours after the Sabbath is over. Closest place to unload baggage is a two-minute walk to The Maimon House. For ease of access, we advise coming to the Old City by taxi as parking is a hassle in this highly populated and visited area. Parking is available in the Zion Gate Public Parking Lot, a six minute walk to the house.
