Perfect for a couple or small family The space Small cozy nest, the Chalet de la Chouette, is a slice of paradise ideal for a couple or small family. Listen, open your eyes, the Owl may be there! Come and rest and refuel in our little corner of nature located on the shores of Lake Moreau. Motorized boats are prohibited, you will wake up to the sound of birds while drinking your coffee sitting on the dock while the children venture out on a pedal boat! Great for vacations or remote work. The environment is quiet and peaceful, we encourage you to respect this tranquility which is part of the character of Lac Moreau. Of course, laughter is also an integral part of our corner of the country! :) Swimmable, Lake Moreau has a fragile ecosystem and we therefore invite you to leave your hygiene and household products at home and use the ones we will leave at your disposal (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and various household products). Take advantage of the many local shops in the area located a few minutes' drive away: Café aux Cinq Soeurs, RR2, Boutique Belle à Croquer, Brulerie La Mekinoise, Boulangerie Germain, Microbrasserie A la Fût, GranoVrac. In St-Tite, a visit to the mini-farm in the woods will delight the little ones... and the big ones :) Located in the heart of La Mauricie, a few kilometers from Saint-Tite, several tourist activities are easily accessible. For example, the Mauricie National Park, the Shawinigan Energy City, the Lac au Sable and Grand-Mère golf clubs, the Grandes-Piles lumberjack village, Shawinigan's "Arbre en arbre", the Vallée du Parc ski resort and the Geai Bleu cross-country ski resort as well as Manitou Musher for an ethical experience with sled dogs. Hiking, quad biking and snowmobiling trails are easily accessible directly from the cottage. Note - (in summer) there is a good "slope" to go down to the chalet. Don't worry, it's good, even if it's impressive, especially going up, we prefer to let you know. So we have a few rules so that it remains pleasant for everyone at Lac Moreau. We therefore ask that you: Keep them on the chalet grounds, unless you go out for walks with them of course. Always be in the presence of them and keep an eye on them when they are outside. If you want to take them out without accompanying them, we have a large leash at your disposal.
