Perfect for a couple or small family The space Small cozy nest, the Chalet de la Chouette, is a slice of paradise ideal for a couple or small family. Listen, open your eyes, the Owl may be there! Come and settle in and refuel in our little corner of nature located on the edge of Lake Moreau. Motorized boats are prohibited, you will wake up to the sound of birds with your coffee sitting on the dock while the kids venture on a pedal boat! Great for holidays or remote work. The environment is quiet and peaceful, we encourage you to respect this tranquility that is part of the character of Lac Moreau. Obviously, laughter is also an integral part of our part of the country!:) Bathing, Lake Moreau has a fragile ecosystem so we invite you to leave your hygiene and household products at home and use those we will leave at your disposal (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and various household products). Enjoy the many local shops in the area within a few minutes by car: Café aux Cinq Sisters, RR2, Boutique Belle à Croquer, Brulerie La Mekinoise, Boulangerie Germain, Microbrasserie A la fût, GranoVrac. In St-tite, a visit to the mini farm of the woods will delight young...and adults:) Located in the heart of the Mauricie, a few kilometers from Saint-Tite, several tourist activities are easily accessible. For example, the Mauricie National Park, the Energy City of Shawinigan, the Golf Clubs of Lac au Sable and Grand-Mère, the village of the loggers of Grandes-Piles, "Tree Tree" of Shawinigan, the Park Valley Ski Center and the Blue Geai Cross Country Ski Center as well as Manitou Musher for an ethical experience with sled dogs. Hiking, Quad, and snowmobile trails are easily accessible directly from the cottage. Note - (in summer) there is a good “hill” to go down to the cottage. Don't worry, it's good, even if it's impressive, especially to go up, we'd rather let you know. Since dogs are happy to discover nature, they tend to explore off the grounds of the cottage. So we have a few rules so that it remains pleasant for all at Lac Moreau. We therefore ask that: Keep these on the grounds of the cottage, unless you go out and take steps with them of course. Always be in the presence of them and keep an eye on them when they are outside. If you want to take them out without accompanying them, we have a large leash at your disposal.
