This is one of the oldest houses in Philadelphia built around 1763. When you come visit you will see the house looks virtually identical to the Betsy Ross house. Small but very charming. The space We've tried to furnish this home in a way that respects the style and date of this home while adding modern comforts. There are two bedrooms on the second floor. Please note you must enter the second bedroom to access the only bathroom in this house. There is a small bedroom on the third floor with two single beds, this room was built in 1760's and has a low ceiling. The staircase is original but may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. We hope you will find it as charming as we do. Guest access Guests have the entire house, but please note the basement stairs are difficult to use. Other things to note Before booking, please confirm you understand; Same day booking check in is 4pm or one hour after booking whichever is later. 1. The stairs are original and small and not suitable for people with mobility issues. 2. This is a non-smoking house. Smoking will incur a 700 dollar fee. No incense or candles either. 3. You cannot and should not use the fireplaces. 4. We clean for our new guests, but the floors are not meant for shoeless because dirt can be bought in sometimes after cleaning. 5. Please note while we clean the house carefully before your arrival, occasionally pests come into the house when the weather is warm or cold. We have set traps and plugged entry points, but this older house is not airtight. 6. The air conditioning is not central air but are window units 7. This house is on a residential street but also close to the highway and you might be bothered by the traffic noise 8. You are able to open a lockbox and will not be upset if you need to call me to walk you through the steps before 10pm. Registration Details 949967
