Guesthouse in Fort Valley

This newly renovated guesthouse is the perfect place to relax and refresh. This 10 acre property is nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley!! Close to hiking, wineries, the river! Soak in the hot tub overlooking the mountains, relax in the dry sauna, take in the nature as you paddle on the private pond or lounge on the dock. Rest well in the new memory foam king bed. This is the perfect place to return after a day of exploring or simply spend the day relaxing. The space This guest house and outdoor space with hot tub are attached to the owners home. The space will be for the private use of guest, but you may see owners out side in their yard. Guests will enter using a code to be entered on the keypad. The downstairs entryway boasts the dry sauna and full bathroom, as well as a welcoming space to drop luggage and kick off your shoes! Head up the stairs to the cozy loft including kitchen, living and bedroom. The kitchen contains a hotplate, a multi-functional countertop oven, and refrigerator, as well as a sink to prepare meals or snacks! The Keurig coffee maker is equipped to make delicious coffee by the cup. (A starter amount K-cups are provided, please bring your own if you’re avid coffee drinkers). The kitchen has a small dining table for two. Relax in the sitting area with a good book and watch the flatscreen Smart TV. Sign in and watch your apps on the TV. Enjoy a restful night's sleep in the comfortable king bed and wake up in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio overlooking the mountains! The hot tub is perfect for a relaxing soak to wind down in the evenings. Venture down the grassy backyard to the covered deck overlooking the pond. You'll find a gas powered fire table and sitting area. Walk down the stairs to the dock and take in the beautiful surroundings while enjoying a dip in the pond or try your luck at catching a fish! (Catch and release policy, swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty.) The downstairs bathroom is modern and features a shower, toilet, and plenty of space to get ready! Plush bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, bath mats, and shampoo and body wash are provided. The downstairs also has the dry sauna for guest to use. Research says a dry sauna is supposed to be good for muscle recovery and stress relief but mostly we think it just feels great! Guest access Guest will have 1 designated parking spot around the right side of the house. Follow the lit path around the guest apartment and you'll see the door to the space on your left. Guests may swim in the pond at their own risk, no lifeguard on duty. If you fish in the pond, we have a strict “catch and release” policy. The pavilion is a shared space. The grill located on the pavilion is only for the owners. Please use the grill located by the guest apartment. Please be considerate of the owners of the property who live and work in the main house. Direct all questions and concerns through the messaging function on the airbnb app. Other things to note This area of the Shenandoah Valley can be a bit spotty with cell phone service. Make sure you download address and check-in information before you arrive! Wifi is available once you arrive! There is absolutely no smoking in the house or property. NO VAPE or marijuana products. This beautiful apartment is located in the country, right next to a small body of water so you may seem some bugs and nature around the property! The guesthouse is attached to the main house but has its own separate entrance and is private.
