Relax in a traditional Swedish wooden house. In the afternoon, sunrays bathe the entrance area and the living room in the bright colors of the hand-blown windows of the entrance door. The evening sun invites you to linger on the old wooden bench of the large dining table or on the terrace. The best way to end cool winter evenings is in front of the fireplace in the living room or go outside to the fireplace sauna - adjacent to the goat farm with its own cheese production. The space Welcome to a traditional Swedish wooden house from the 19th century. It has been lovingly renovated from cellar to roof since 2019 and has been partially modernized (e.g. new windows) and is located about 10 minutes walking distance from Lake Älmten (see photos). The original condition with creaking floorboards and old wallpaper has not been changed. So you have to like it a bit rustic. The best way to end cool winter evenings is in front of the fireplace in the living room or venture through the garden into the fireplace-powered barrel sauna - adjacent to the neighboring property of our German friends with their goat farm and their own cheese production. The 4 bedrooms (3 upstairs) with lush double beds and 3 single beds for children and 2 bathrooms (with underfloor heating) are spread over both floors. Hints: - Use the slippers provided with plastic soles due to possible splinters from the old wooden floorboards. Please bring your own for children. - When heating the fireplace, pay attention to possible nails in the wood - Tap water is drinkable (naturally filtered and treated) - Pay attention to instructions in the house - Electricity will be charged separately (3 crowns/kWh and 50 crowns/week) -Wood consumption separately with 5€/basket from fourth basket firewood (3 baskets included in booking) - It is not recommended to use a washing machine and kitchen appliances at the same time. - The house and property are being improved bit by bit.
