Our freshly renovated, mid-century modern home features three comfy bedrooms and a charming covered patio—the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening chat at the bistro table. Since the home has some vintage character, you might notice a quirk or two. If you do, just let us know—we’re always working to make things even better for our guests! The kitchen is set up for light cooking/simple meals—think reheating takeout or chilling drinks. We do not provide speciality cookware or supplies (spices, condiments, food etc.) but you’ll find everything you need to make light snacks we just ask that guests immediately clean up any crumps/mess/dirty dishes as to avoid attracting ants/insects. While we charge a very small cleaning fee, and we don’t expect guests to do a major clean-up before they leave, we do ask that guests help keep the space neat/tidy, and that they pick up any personal items, trash etc., and that guests leave the kitchen as they found it (especially if guests use the microwave or dishes). If the home is left extra messy, there may be an additional cleaning fee up to $250 (but this is very rare). Our goal is to make our guest's stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Our home/doors does not have any physical keys - The home uses electronic deadbolts/keypads. Guests MUST be comfortable using an electronic doorlock, and in disarming a RING Security Alarm... We provide a link to a video tutorial to the home's operations (entry, working the security alarm, operating the showers, operating the thermostat etc.) We provide a photo tutorial to the home's operations in our photos on the home's Airbnb Listing page. Guests can always message us via the Airbnb messaging thread with any questions they may have. Guests can always message us via the home's video doorbell's intercom system, as well. Other things to note Booking & Communication - To ensure the best possible experience, we kindly ask that prospective guests send us an inquiry message before booking. This helps us answer any questions you may have and to confirm that our home is the perfect fit for your stay. Home Policies - We strive to create a peaceful and comfortable environment for all of our guests and neighbors. For this reason, our home is best suited for couples, small families, or travelers seeking a quiet retreat. Please note: The home is not suitable for parties, gatherings (more than five person), or events of any kind. Maximum occupancy is five guests at all times, including children/infants (no visitors are allowed per Nevada state law). Unfortunately, we can not accommodate additional guests or visitors without prior approval (we charge $300 per additional/unauthorized guest). Security & Safety - Your safety and the security of our home are important to us. We have several exterior security cameras: a video doorbell at the front entryway, a video floodlight above the garage, and two additional exterior security cameras covering the front yard. These are always on and help us manage the property responsibly. There are no cameras inside of the home. Check-In & Parking - Check-in instructions will be sent by 3:00PM PST on the scheduled check-in date. Parking for up to two vehicles (mid-sized Suvs or smaller) is available, either in the enclosed garage or driveway. Please ensure vehicles do not block the sidewalk or park along the street, as street parking in residential neighborhoods by short-term rental guests is illegal (per Nevada state law) and these vehicles would be subject to citation/towing. If you plan to bring a large vehicle (pickup, minivan, trailer, or moving truck), please let us know in advance so we can discuss arrangements (as they must be parked off-site) as they will not fit on our property and ultimately violate Nevada state law. House Rules & Fees - No smoking of any kind is allowed inside or anywhere on the property. A $250 air purification fee will be charged for any evidence of smoking. No pets are allowed. We love animals, but due to severe allergies among our staff and some guests, we must keep the home pet-free. This includes service and emotional support animals as per our approved Airbnb exemption. Extra cleaning or damage fees may apply if the home is left in an unusually messy condition. Quiet hours begin at 7:00 PM (7:00AM - 7:00AM). Please help us maintain a peaceful environment for our neighbors. Check-out is 10:00AM (extended check-outs may be available (with prior approval) for $150.00 per hour or portion thereof. Additional Details - We do not allow any kind of parties, celebrations, or large gatherings (more than five persons) including BBQs, family reunions, or special events. No bouncy houses or similar equipment are permitted. Our neighborhood is vibrant during the day but very quiet in the evenings. We appreciate your help in keeping it that way.
