Outside there is a large fully-enclosed south-facing garden mainly laid to lawn. Anchorage offers off-road parking for three cars to the front. Situated on the coastal road, opposite the track which leads you to the beach, staying at Anchorage means you couldn't be closer to the marsh and sea if you tried! Salthouse is full to the brim with pretty flint and chalk cottages set down little lokes and lanes, and also boasts a beautiful church. The attractive villages of Cley-next-the-Sea with iconic windmill, and Blakeney with quirky fisherman's cottages and harbour, are only a short walk or car journey away. Explore Blakeney Point, taking a boat to see the colony of seals. Dine out at Morston Hall, Wiveton Café, the Wiveton Bell or, indeed, the Hanser, or The George at neighbouring Cley. Head to Holt where there are numerous restaurants, hotels, cafe's and delis plus plenty of shopping opportunities. Do take time to get closer to nature by visiting the Norfolk Wildlife Trust (almost next door to the property) and spend time learning more about the amazing birds and wildlife that make this rich coastline their home. There is also a fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer plus access to the rear garden via the back door. Snug: Sofa, glazed doors providing access to the garden First Floor: A very light open-plan living area with gorgeous sea views across the marsh and out to sea. Kitchen/Dining/Living area: Kitchen area: Central kitchen island with breakfast bar, two stools, double electric oven, hob, integral dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso machine (please bring your own 'vertuo' pods). Dining area: Dining table with seating for eight. Sitting area: Two sofas and two armchairs, perfect for taking in the views, wood-burning stove, large Smart TV. The staircase leading to the mezzanine floor is steep with wooden treads and no handrail. Mezzanine Floor: An open tread steep staircase (not suitable for the less mobile) leads up to the mezzanine floor which provides further breathtaking views. This chilled-out space offers space and seating to relax in. Outside: Located on the coast road the property has a shingle driveway and parking space for three cars to the front of the house. There is a mode 3 7.4kw EV charging point available for an additional cost of £75, and the house is powered by solar panels. The beautifully landscaped gardens wrap around the house. The rear south-facing fully-enclosed garden is mainly laid to lawn and comes with garden furniture including a table with eight chairs and four sun loungers, a charcoal barbecue and patio heaters. There is a hot water tap outside too, for washing salty feet (and paws!). The rear garden overlooks farmland and a small-holding which is home to a variety of animals.
