Gaze at the stars from your bed and wake up to photograph the sunrise without leaving the dome. Domos Uspallata is a family project located in the Uspallata Valley, in the heart of the Andes Mountains. We are 1 hour and 30 minutes from the city of Mendoza. You'll have the opportunity to experience nature from the inside (as if you were camping) but while enjoying great comfort. The eight domes share the grounds with our agroecological farm, where you'll find a vegetable garden, alfalfa fields, poplar groves, and various animals. From the dome's terrace, you'll have elevated views of a large grassland with the mountain range in the background. Ideal for appreciating its immensity, spotting birds and other species, or simply enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sun set. During the day, you can reach a stream with meltwater. It's just a 7-minute walk from the dome. Regional and homemade cuisine. We offer a meal service (lunch and dinner) so you don't have to leave the property. A three-course menu prepared on the spot. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. (Service may vary depending on the season.) WINTER specifics (June to September): 1. The dome is heated with a wood-burning stove. We recommend keeping it on at night and in the early morning, which is when the temperature drops considerably. We provide the firewood and can show you how to use it if you ask. 2. In the early morning, on some days, the water pipes may freeze for a few hours. The problem always resolves itself in the afternoon. If this happens, we will give you a container of water. Special features of SUMMER (October–April): On sunny days, it can get very hot inside, so we recommend coming with a desire to enjoy outdoor spaces and activities. At night, it always cools down. Each dome has the following: - Mattress bases, linens, bath towels and hand towels, blankets. - Private bathroom with 24-hour hot water - Kitchen: refrigerator with freezer, electric stovetop and electric kettle (includes dishes - basic equipment - no oven) - Wi-Fi access - Breakfast included (we bring it to the dome). We are an hour away from the snow parks and high-mountain ski resorts (open from June to October), Puente del Inca, Aconcagua Provincial Park, and 10 minutes from downtown Uspallata. Do the domes have heating? A. Yes. They have wood-burning stoves. Lighting the stoves and adding wood to them is part of the experience for guests. Q: Are the domes air-conditioned?
