Opt to leave your tent at home to stay in this top-notch furnished tent cabin. Complete with solar power, a small fan, propane space heater, BBQ grill, palapa umbrella, fire pit, and an outdoor picnic table you will enjoy an exceptional glamping experience. The space What's included: Each tent cabin is complete with a queen-size bed, a small fan, propane space heater, assorted furniture, a propane grill, an outdoor seating area with a palapa umbrella, and a firepit for ease of lakeside living. Enjoy renewable energy from solar panels for lights, charging phones, cameras, and laptops. (Our solar cannot support any appliances such as coffee pots, blenders, or hot water heaters). Tents also come with 2 pillows, a comforter, and clean sheets. In the spring and fall, we provide a heater for the tent as overnight temperatures can get chilly in that time. What to bring: Similar to other camping experiences, you must provide your own cooler for food storage, and any cooking and eating utensils. There are two other tent cabins, and some RV and tent camping sites nearby. You may be able to hear other guests from your tent cabin. You may see other guests in the park. There is no total soundless privacy here, so please consider before booking if you are looking to be totally alone. Guest access Signs inside the resort will direct you to the parking area for the tent cabins. Detailed directions are also available to you in the app's arrival guide. This listing is located inside an RV campground so there may be other guests staying in this campground nearby. Bathrooms, showers, and dishwashing stations are available in shared spaces. The marina, campground, beach are all accessible to you. There is a parking area next to the tent cabin. Our Office & Store is open Monday through Saturday 7am - 6pm & Sunday 7am - 5pm. Fishing supplies, personal items, ice cream, non-perishable foods, firewood, ice, souvenirs, and more are available for purchase! Other things to note The lake is a reservoir, so lake levels may vary throughout the year based on precipitation, and water usage by the farmers. Swimming in the lake is not available for some time in July to late August. During that time, hot weather makes the algae bloom that can make swimming unpleasant. Be sure to inquire if this is happening during your stay as it depends on weather and water levels in the lake. Being close to the lake means there are flying insects outside. Most of the insects are non-biting midges that are attracted to light and will attempt to enter the room if you let them. We do get some small green mosquitos during the summer in the evening, as well. We are at 6,400 feet in elevation. This listing is located in a place that gets snow in the winter, and certain mountain roads may be closed until that snow melts when the weather warms in the spring. Please pay attention to road closures in the area due to snow. We will not advise you of road closures as we do not know where you are coming from, where you are going, or when road closures and openings happen in relation to your time of arrival or departure. It is your responsibility to research drive times and mountain road closures. April/May/October/November temperatures can be cold in the mountains. There is a propane heater inside the tent, and a firepit outside to warm up at (please note store open times for firewood purchases). However, please pay attention to the weather forcast if you are sensitive to cold. Remember, although this is a furnished glamping experience, it is still CAMPING, and there is always going to be some amount of exposure to the elements here. Looking to fish and cruise around the lake? You're in luck! We have a fleet of excellent rentals ready for you and your friends to get out on the water. Paddleboards and kayaks are $15 for 2 hours. Please message us for more information on our fleet of motorboats. We do not get visited by bears, so no, there are no bear boxes to store your food in.
