Wimborne luxury dog friendly lodge with pool

Owl’s nest is a spacious high end luxury lodge with deck & very large secluded garden. Situated on the edge of the beautiful historic market town of Wimborne, close to the New Forest & beautiful Sandy beaches of Sandbanks, Purbeck Island. The luxury accommodation sleeps 4 with king size bedroom & twin, both with their own large en-suites. The peaceful rural site has open air pool & children’s pool, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, table tennis,adventure playground, dog paddock & shop. The space The lodge is luxurious, modern & spacious with wrap around deck & views over its own large garden which is very private, edged with mature trees & a fully fenced duck pond. The garden affords a great degree of privacy & has loads of lawn for children to play & adults to chill. Quality wooden sunbeds with thick cushions are provided for sunbathing. The gorgeous wrap around deck has table & chairs for alfresco dining & comfy armchairs for relaxing. We also provide throws, blankets & cushions for the garden to snuggle under on a chilly evening. The contemporary interior is open plan with very spacious lounge with sofa, armchairs, bookshelves, large TV with catch up, Netflix ( please use your own account) and French windows leading to the front decking. The large luxury kitchen is equipped with everything you will ever need & has a large fridge freezer, 5 ring gas hob & large oven, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, extensive range of crockery, cutlery & pans. Coffee machine, cafetière,food processor, George Foreman grill, slow cooker etc Adjacent to the kitchen is a breakfast bar with stools & dining table. Opposite the dining area is a separate portioned study/ office area with large desk, chair, bookshelves & floor to ceiling window overlooking the garden. Across the internal hallway are two bedrooms, one with king size bed, the other with twin beds. Both have plenty of storage space with two wardrobes, dressing tables & bedside cupboards. Each bedroom has its own spacious en-suite, one with a bath & shower, the other with shower. Accessed from the internal entrance hall is a utility room with washer/dryer, sink, storage & wc. The entrance hall has hanging space for coats, shoe rack & umbrella stand with umbrellas ( hopefully not needed!) We have provided a large range of books for adults & children plus games. The site is peaceful & wooded with shop, outdoor pool & children’s pool,tennis courts, sand volleyball court, football pitch, basketball court, outdoor table tennis, childrens adventure playground & dog paddock where you can let your dog off the lead. The local characterful town of Wimborne, which is a few minutes drive has a large selection of interesting independent shops, restaurants, cafes, bars & the Tivoli theatre. There is a Waitrose & Cooperative supermarket. The beautiful New Forest with its herds of wild ponies is a short drive away, as are the beautiful Sandy beaches of Sandbanks, Poole, Bournemouth & Purbeck Island. If you love shopping & exploring towns, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch & Shaftesbury are all within easy reach. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property & garden Other things to note Unfortunately we do not accept dogs under 18 months. Dogs should never be left in the house alone, a guest’s dog recently ate the lounge carpet while left in the house! commercial vehicles with writing on the side or ladders on top are not allowed on site, this is a rule strictly enforced by the site management. A van serving delicious food visits the site every Tuesday between 5:30 & 8:00 during summer school holidays.
