Welcome to Los Delfines! This is a private, gated community surrounded by mountains, jungle and 7 kilometers of private beach, which is a 5 minute walk from the house. Golf, tennis and pickle ball are available within the community. You will wake up to the jungle sounds of Howler moneys playing and the song of exotic birds. There are waterfalls, hiking and ATV trails within a short distance by car. The space Welcome to our home. Because you are renting our home, rather than an income property, you will find that it is decorated with upscale furniture and personal touches. We are avid art collectors, so you will enjoy original artwork from local artists throughout the house. The villa is a beautiful modern 3 bedroom house with a spacious private backyard with a pool, rancho (gazebo), outdoor dinning and a BBQ. The house sleeps up to 7 with 2.5 baths. The kitchen is a modern design with granite counter tops and is very well equipped. The large rancho (gazebo) provides outdoor living space with lots of shaded, comfortable seating by the pool. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house. This is a private bay with approx 7 klms of walkable beach. The majority of the beach is adjacent to the jungle, with beautiful vistas of palm trees and mountains. *No Pets * The home is not suitable to young children. There are no safeguards for the pool access, and no open areas for children to play out side in the yard or inside the living area. *Please note that this is a 100% non-smoking villa. **This is a very quiet community, with most villas being owner occupied. We will register our guests with Main Gate Security. Upon arrival, you will be required to provide a government issued ID with picture. *This is important, as you will not be granted access without it. Other things to note CR is rustically beautiful. We are surrounded by the ocean, mountains and jungle. You wake up to the jungle sounds of Howler moneys playing and beautiful exotic birds. We have a private bay, with 7 klms of beach (4 min walk). GROCERIES, SHOPPING & RESTAURANTS There is a small grocery store in the community, and a Sunday market is set up by the front gate with fresh local fruits and vegetables. Tambor - You can purchase fresh fish at the Pescaderia, and there is a large organic market on Saturday mornings. Tambor is approx 10 minutes from the house by car. Cobano and Paquera - Both towns have grocery stores, butchers, restaurants, coffee shop, pharmacy, doctors office, etc. Both are about the same distance. They are about 20 mins away by car. Montezuma and Santa Teresa are destinations, with both being appox 35 minutes away by car. Both have beautiful beaches and great restaurants. If you don’t rent a car, there is a bus stop across the road from the main gate of the community that will take you to surrounding areas/towns. GETTING THERE Airlines fly into either Liberia or San Jose, which are int’l airports. Each is about 3 hours away. You can drive if renting a car, take a shuttle that can be booked in advance or take a commuter flight right to our community (Sansa or Green Air).
