Lovely Room With Projector and Garden Views.

This beautiful room brags a queen bed and a chandelier. It looks out into the backyard gardens and stays quiet. The chimney was exposed and shelves built into it, giving the room character and extra storage. The room has a decent sized closet, a small dresser, and a table for your laptop. The queen sized bed has a bed frame made out of an antique reclaimed door. The space The room is located on the top floor of a townhouse. The common area has 15 foot ceilings (about 4.5 meters) and two skylights. It has cable TV, an island with stools, a full kitchen and a second table. The room shares with 2 other rooms. I live in the apartment but spend the majority of my time out in the City or downstairs in my creative basement area so you likely won't see much of me. Guest access Guest have access to the bathroom, kitchen, living room and the pergola in front of the house. You'll find tables there and string lights for sitting with friends at night. During your stay I am available in person or via Airbnb whenever you need me (within reasonable hours:) Other things to note Bedroom door locks are highly illegal in NYC. I have installed vanity locks as allowed by law. The doors to the closet can be locked to secure your valuables. I understand the need to bargain but I'm usually one of the cheaper Airbnbs within 30 minutes of Manhattan and I don't like bargaining. I will take about 23 hours to say 'no' and point you to one of the "shared" rooms or New Jersey. Also, people who have tried and failed to bargain in the past and then booked a room tend to be difficult guests so I will decline any request from bargainers. You’ll enjoy my place if.... You want a quiet (usually) and laid-back place that is budget-friendly and has character. If there is any Ikea furniture, I’ve likely modified it to make it one-of-a-kind. You won’t enjoy my place so much if: You expect an entire apartment for roughly the price of a single hostel bed in the cheapest hostel. This is a room with shared common spaces. If you think all of your friends and relatives are filthy. I do my best to keep the place clean and 90% of people give me 5 stars on cleanliness. Those who give me less than 5 stars usually seem to either be the cleanest of the clean or expected a daily cleaning service. I'm a quality budget place and cleaning services are very expensive here. Some hosts do obsessively clean their places but I value a relaxed atmosphere above all and in my experience, the cleanest hosts tend to have the most rules/reasons for conflict. You want to be in the center of it all My neighborhood is residential and fairly quiet. As most neighborhoods within a half hour of Manhattan are equally safe, convenience drives rent up more than anything else. You’re saving maybe 50% by simply riding the subway another 5-10 minutes and only having 2 bars within a block, not 20.
